Students violating order and discipline on the premises or committing an action specified as on offence in the Rules and Regulations of the Dormitories may be punished, according to the degree of the offensive act in questions, with a "Warning" and "Reproval" by the Dormitory Manager or supervisors. Otherwise, the violation of any of the regulations stipulated herein will be referred to the Dormitories Executive Committee for consideration.
"Warning" may be incurred for the following acts and behaviour.
1. violation of the rules, regulations and norms of behaviour students are expected to observe;
2. behaving in a rude, uncivil or aggressive way towards others; insulting the administrative and service personnel of the dormitories;
3. not keeping the premises clean and tidy;
4. disturbing others by making excessive noise, or playing loud music on radios, cassette decks, etc;
5. refusing to respond on time to the requests for explanation, written or otherwise, made by the Manager and other personnel in charge;
6.failing to observe the points stated on the "Dormitories Regulations Form" signed on admission.
"Reproval" may be incurred for the following acts and behaviour.
1. persistence in the type of behaviour listed.
2. willful violation or disregard of the rules, regulations and norms of behavior students are expected to observe.
3. writing, drawing, or sticking notices or similar material on, or causing any other damage to the walls, doors, furniture and equipment on the premises; posting notices not approved by the Office of the Rector or the Student Union anywhere around the premises; using the premises for purposes other than those they are designated for;
4. tearing up, writing on or drawing on the notices put up by the Administration or with the approval of the Administration;
5. declining to provide the information requested by the officials of the dormitories, providing untrue or incomplete information;
6. not observing the points stated on the "Dormitories Regulations Form" signed on admission.
"Dismissal" may be incurred for the following acts and behaviour.
1. possessing or using fire arms, explosives, or other dangerous weapons and items;
2. gambling or possessing items used for gambling on the premises;
3. using or bringing to the premises narcotic or other mood altering drugs;
4. fighting;
5. stealing;
6. possessing or consuming alcoholic drinks on the premises.
7. causing the disturbance of order and discipline on the premises;
8. polluting the environment;
9. damaging the equipment, properties and installations in the dormitories;
10. giving untrue or misleading information to the Administration;
11. interfering with the duties of the administration personnel, and/or ignoring their warnings;
12. apart from what has been stated above, behaving in a rude, immoral, or indecent way;
13. ignoring other rules and regulations stipulated by the Dormitories Directorate or the other administrative bodies of the School.
